We have a field force of over 70 experienced, licensed agents who can be mobilised the same or next day for servicing evictions. Our agents can issue and/or collect the documents from court and travel to the property or site and serve. These documents usually include a claim form, particulars of claim, and witness statements.

In cases where the documents are issued against ‘persons unknown’, Arkline will serve those persons by:

  1. Attaching the claim form and associated documents to the main door or some other part of the land so that they are clearly visible and if possible inserting copies of the documents in a sealed transparent envelope addressed to ‘the occupiers’ through the letterbox.
  2. Affixing to posts or placing stakes in the land where they are clearly visible and attaching to each post or stake copies of the documents in sealed transparent envelopes addressed to ‘the occupiers’. We will then prepare a certificate of service outlining how the documents were served including dates and times which will be signed by our process server. In urgent cases, a copy of this certificate can be scanned and emailed to you and/or posted with guaranteed next day delivery.

Key Benefits

  • You can be confident that your documents will be served in full compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules, negating the risk of the court dismissing the case or issuing cost sanctions on the grounds of procedural impropriety.

  • Because our process servers are independent of any proceedings, the proof of service they provide will carry considerable weight.

Case Study

Eviction of squatters

Day 1

Arkline was requested by a solicitor to arrange an agent to collect documents from their offices and then attend court to issue them the following day, with the time to be provided in the morning.

Day 2

The time agreed was 2.00pm. The agent attended court, however, delays ensued, and the documents were obtained at 3:20pm. The agent travelled to the site which was a car park. They attached the documents, which were placed in transparent envelopes, on posts situated at access points to the car park and on other prominent posts all of which were clearly visible around the site. Our agent did not attach any documents to caravans on site to avoid accusations of damage by the defendants. Photographs were taken and the agent was courteous at all times and managed to hand one copy of the notice to a defendant in person. At 4:30pm a certificate of service was prepared and sent to the agent for signing.

Day 3

A copy of the certificate of service scanned to the client and original copies delivered by post/DX.
